Move projects forward — in English.

Metamorphose is a three-person consulting firm that supports large programmes in life insurance, finance and pharma.

Why a small firm

We are not a household name. So we write this plainly.

01

You see the whole engagement from month one

What takes years at a large firm — seeing the whole project — starts on day one. No rank wall. You hear why a decision was made, in the room.

02

English × project operations is scarce

People who can do English, and people who can do PMO, exist separately. Both is rare and well paid. This role is the shortest path to that combination on live work.

03

Work assumes AI

ChatGPT Business and a dedicated AI-agent environment from day one. Minutes, drafts and trackers are shared with AI; people keep coordination and judgement. You use the same pattern we run internally.

04

We don’t hide the numbers

Three people. Five main clients. Repeat work. DX-certified. 2026 Certified Health & Productivity. The usual fear with a small firm is not seeing the facts — so we put them first.

05

Three months of onboarding, promised

Month one: internal training. Months two–three: OJT with a senior. We do not drop you on a client and walk away. Review, correct, repeat.

06

Flexible work, written conditions

WFH / remote OK, flextime, overtime typically ~20 hours/month. Pay range, base salary and probation are in the description. Nothing first appears at interview.

Questions before you apply

Is a three-person firm safe for my career?

PMO support → PMO → consultant experience compounds faster than at a large firm. If you later move to a larger company, English × project operations is valued. We are not asking you to stay for life.

Why is the current person leaving?

Their own career reasons. Ask at interview; we will say what we can.

I have no IT or insurance background. Can I apply?

Yes. Must-haves are English and experience coordinating work / making materials. Industry knowledge comes in training and OJT.

How good does my English need to be?

Explain your work in a meeting, answer questions, and coordinate dates and requests by email. No TOEIC cutoff. We may do a short English exchange in the interview.

How much remote work?

WFH / remote is allowed. Client meetings and travel (including possible overseas) mean some on-site days. Frequency depends on the engagement — we will say the current picture at interview.

Role description

RoleBilingual Project Assistant (PMO support)
Overseas liaison, meeting operations, progress tracking — in English
TeamYou support projects jointly with the principal.
Why we are hiringReplacement after the current person leaves. We need someone who can coordinate stakeholders in English and keep the programme running with the principal.
Work

You support the project in English and Japanese: overseas contact, meeting ops, and materials. You work with the principal and leaders from sorting requests through checking progress.

Typical tasks

  • English email with overseas stakeholders; scheduling; confirming requests and collecting replies
  • Join English and Japanese meetings; explain and confirm your items; minutes and next actions
  • PowerPoint / Excel: meeting packs, briefings, progress sheets
  • Track tasks, issues and deadlines; chase replies and deliverables
  • With the principal or leader: structure information, issues, and drafts
  • Secretariat work as needed: exercise prep, evidence, inquiries
  • Occasional support for the principal and client executives

Likely programmes

IT and management-strategy work that includes overseas units of a life insurer, and mid-term plan support. You back the principal’s specialist work with English coordination, materials and meeting ops.

Requirements

Must

  • English: explain, discuss and confirm your work in meetings; coordinate by email
  • Japanese: coordinate with stakeholders; write materials and minutes
  • Experience in business coordination, sales admin, PMO support, project support, or similar
  • PowerPoint / Excel materials; Outlook / Teams scheduling
  • Can sort requests and deadlines, and ask when something is unclear

Nice to have

  • Work with overseas counterparts; English meetings and email
  • PMO / consultant support, secretariat, client-facing materials
  • IT / system rollout, or finance / insurance programmes
  • Issue and progress tracking; process notes; IT vocabulary

IT or insurance experience is a plus, not a gate. English plus coordination and materials is the core.

How we work together

  • Clear with others; careful and accurate
  • Thinks about the next check, and reports at the right time
  • Takes review, improves, and wants to learn IT and project operations
